TaskPocket

A habit tracker that logs numbers, times of day and moods side by side, so you can see what your habits do to your sleep, mood and energy.

Introduction

Habit Pocket is a habit tracker that logs numbers, times of day and moods side by side, so you can see what your habits do to your sleep, mood and energy.

A checkbox works for "meditated". It doesn't work for "slept 6.5 hours", "in bed at 23:40" or "energy: low". So in Habit Pocket every habit has a type: a yes/no check, a number with a unit and a target, a time of day, or a pick from a list you define (mood, energy, workout type, one choice or several). They all sit in one grid, one row per day, grouped into sections.

Cells can change colour by value, so a short night or a late bedtime stands out before you open a single chart. When you do want a chart, you build it yourself: line, heatmap, summary or candle chart. You can put several habits on the same chart and see what moves together. An overlay shows what moves together, not what causes what, but that's usually enough to notice a pattern worth testing.

There's an iPhone app that works offline and a full web app that runs in any browser, Android phones included. Apple Health can fill in steps, weight and other numbers for you. If you've been tracking in Excel or Google Sheets, save the sheet as CSV and import it.

Habit Pocket also has an MCP server, so Claude or ChatGPT can read your habits, log entries, pull stats and build charts when you ask. There's a REST API too, if you'd rather write your own scripts.

The free plan needs no card. Pro adds unlimited habits, every chart type, targets, Apple Health auto-fill, AI access and the API, and it comes with a free trial.

There's no Android app yet; the web app covers that for now. Habit Pocket is built and supported by one developer.
